About Me

More than 30 years have passed since I graduated from Hudson's Bay High School and embarked on a journey across the United States as both an athlete and business professional. As I reflect on those experiences, what stands out the most are the relationships and sense of camaraderie that came from working together towards a shared goal. These experiences have instilled in me the ability to engage in meaningful conversations, ask insightful questions, and help others achieve their objectives.

Opening a business in my hometown of Vancouver has been a dream come true. When I left Vancouver in pursuit of my degree in 1987, I had just finished playing in the American Legion National Championship as a member of the Vancouver Cardinals. Today, my agency is located in the Hudson's Bay neighborhood, where we sponsor and coach a team at Fort Vancouver Little League. My life's journey may have taken me away, but it ultimately brought me back to the city and community that I hold dear.

My wife Michelle and I have had the privilege of raising three incredible children in various cities across America. Adapting to new environments and cultures has been a priceless experience for our family. After a successful career in corporate America, we made the decision to move our family back to my hometown, where we are now living in the Hough Neighborhood. Working alongside my wife Michelle and daughter Alexa at our agency every day brings me great joy.

Building relationships, helping others, and being an active member of the community are some of my passions. Serving on the Board of the Children's Miracle Network of St. Louis has taught me the importance of putting others' needs before my own. We are excited to combine our experiences, deliver exceptional service, and give back to our community. As our agency grows and succeeds, we will continue to support and reward our community for embracing us.

Office Manager

Michelle Riley is the Office Manager for Jim Riley State Farm Insurance.  Michelle brings over 12 years of administrative experience in Office Management, Office Assistant and Customer Service. She is responsible for all office procedures, and uses her organizational skills to ensure smooth operations in a busy work environment.  Her job is to oversee the office operations and she is committed to making our customers and their families experience in our office a positive one.

Michelle has been a resident of Vancouver since she moved from St. Louis, MO in 2017.  While she spent some time in the Midwest, Washington is where she was born and spent most of her adult years.  She is thrilled to be back in the PNW and thoroughly enjoys working right along side her family.  Michelle loves to participate in outdoor activities and spend time with extended family whenever possible.

Alexa Riley is an account manager for Jim Riley State Farm Insurance. Alexa is fresh out of college, and beginning her career with aspirations of one day running her own agency.  During the day to day, Alexa is responsible for identifying customer needs, servicing their existing policies and growing our business through developing long-term relationships within our agency and the community.

Alexa has had the opportunity of growing up in multiple cities across the U.S. resulting in an amazing ability to connect with people.  Alexa loves to travel, hike, camp, and explore all the PNW has to offer. Whether it’s snowboarding in the winter or hiking in the summer, she loves the outdoors.

Alexa is also extremely competitive.  She began a long run playing competitive soccer as a youth.  While living in Las Vegas, at the age of 12, Alexa and her 12U Soccer team won the Nevada State Championship.  Her success on the soccer field continued well into her college years.  As a freshman, she was selected Player of the Year in her Division.  It will be fun to watch Alexa competing with her brother Taylor (one of our other Account Managers) each month as they work together to service our customers and grow our business by providing remarkable customer service. ~

Hello, I'm Kassandra. Insurance can be overwhelming but it doesn't need to be. I'm passionate about working with State Farm customer's so they can make well informed decisions on their individual policies. I moved to the PNW back in 2012 and now consider this home. In my free time I enjoy reading, gaming, and community activism. As a proud trans woman, I strive to support my community and ensure everyone's voice is heard.
